बूंदें
आखिर इन्सान है क्या ? बस, जीते जी दो बूँद और मर कर मुट्ठी भर राख़ लेकिन ये जीता-जागता इन्सान एक, सैलाब, कारनामा, दरिंदा, दरियादिल, दयालु, प्रेमी, हत्यारा, चोर, ठग, लुटेरा, इत्यादि और भी तो बहुत कुछ है. एक भसड़ सी मचा रखी है इस मुए ने घूमते गोले पर; हर गम और मज़े की सीधी-साधी वजह है ये कुछ बूंदों से बना इंसान.
सो मैंने भी; भरी बारिश में स्लेट की छत के नीचे एक बाल्टी भरने को लगा रखी है ताकि कुछ बूँदें इक्कठा कर सकूँ, हालाँकि अभी बाल्टी भरी तो नहीं है लेकिन ये बारिश भी तो कहाँ रोज़ होती है ! मेरे हिस्से में आयी, ये कुछ बूँदें ही इस काव्य संग्रह में जमा है, आइये मिल हाथ-मुंह धो लें.
